		<official-title>To amend title 38, United States Code, to increase the priority for enrollment of medal of honor
			 recipients in the health care system of the Department of Veterans
			 Affairs.</official-title>

		<section id="HD49AFF3DC9EB4791BCAA8DC8E5406E81" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Medal of Honor Priority Care Act</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="HE9152CDEC68D4363AF4B6E3B55317119" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>Priority of medal of honor recipients in health care system of Department of Veterans Affairs</header>
			<subsection id="H9C2B6C3C25C14069A6F1BC87819E7F4B"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline"><external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/38/1705">Section 1705</external-xref> of title 38, United States Code, is amended—</text>
				<paragraph id="H2239E65B1523411791138A1AF430997E"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in subsection (a)(1), by striking the period at the end and inserting the following: <quote>and veterans who were awarded the medal of honor under section 3741, 6241, or 8741 of title 10 or
			 <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/14/491">section 491</external-xref> of title 14.</quote>; and</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="HB02C138C81724A628881D2FDDD8564DB"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in paragraph (3), by striking <quote>veterans who were awarded the medal of honor under section 3741, 6241, or 8741 of title 10 or
			 <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/14/491">section 491</external-xref> of title 14,</quote>.</text>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="HD65CDBF03B2B4BE6B40FAFE23DFC1224"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Application</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The priority of enrollment of medal of honor recipients pursuant to <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/38/1705">section 1705(a)(1)</external-xref> of title 38,
			 United States Code, as amended by subsection (a), shall apply to each such
			 recipient, regardless of the date on which the medal is awarded.</text>
