			 issues guidance, and for other purposes.</official-title>

		<section id="HD090DDA30B4B4B24A90374118359468D" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Bureau Guidance Transparency Act</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="H0001CC93BF18452B908FBAFC3F5B4BAB"><enum>2.</enum><header>Standards for issuing guidance</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 1022(b) of the Consumer Financial Protection Act of 2010 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/12/5512">12 U.S.C. 5512(b)</external-xref>) is amended by
			 adding at the end the following:</text>
			<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H9151A60CDC08411CB5B4B1DB66FECC7B" style="OLC">
				<paragraph id="HC7CEBF3FD2F24E66B9C6D326C0388671"><enum>(5)</enum><header>Standards for issuing guidance</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In issuing any guidance, the Bureau shall—</text>
					<subparagraph id="HF64E7D54618A42DE8FAE543C67D68792"><enum>(A)</enum><text>provide for a public notice and comment period before issuing the guidance in final form; and</text>
					</subparagraph><subparagraph id="H64E2F37B0EC94C2587E1D088C1E78060"><enum>(B)</enum><text>when issuing guidance in final form, make available to the public, including on the website of the
			 Bureau, all studies, data, and other analysis relied on by the Bureau in
			 preparing and issuing such guidance.</text></subparagraph></paragraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
