		<section display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H69143C367F51449584C391D5BCF9CF23" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Tax Free Health Insurance Act of 2014</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HE59A7738796C4B36B8260BD8C6CA3E0F" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>Deduction for premiums for health insurance</header>
			<subsection id="H0C8CC8E652B4403F8A7B56E6BF9ABFD2"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text>Part VII of subchapter B of <external-xref legal-doc="usc-chapter" parsable-cite="usc-chapter/26/1">chapter 1</external-xref> of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 is amended by redesignating section 224 as section 225 and by
			 inserting after section 223 the following new section:</text>

					<section id="H7F0F845540314CFABE4DA2E1E9C00EE0"><enum>224.</enum><header>Deduction for premiums for health insurance</header>
						<text display-inline="no-display-inline">In the case of an individual, there shall be allowed as a deduction to the taxpayer for the taxable
			 year amounts paid by the taxpayer for insurance which constitutes medical
			 care (as defined in section 213(d)) for the taxpayer and the taxpayer’s
			 spouse and dependents. No amount shall be taken into account under the
			 preceding sentence if a deduction or credit is allowed for such amount
			 under this chapter or to any other taxpayer.</text></section><after-quoted-block>. </after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
			</subsection><subsection id="H121AD2D066DC4E76A7F16D3EB70ECD70"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Deduction allowed whether or not individual itemizes other deductions</header><text>Subsection (a) of <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/26/62">section 62</external-xref> of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 is amended by inserting before the last sentence at the end
			 the following new paragraph:</text>

			</subsection><subsection id="H6291BB8208844264B4752698791B5599"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Clerical amendment</header><text>The table of sections for part VII of subchapter B of chapter 1 is amended by striking the item relating to section 224 and adding at the end the following new
			 items:</text>

			</subsection><subsection id="H276E78FB56D0433FB9998AA172B3E7D7"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Effective date</header><text>The amendments made by this section shall apply to taxable years beginning after December 31, 2014.</text>
