			 Tree National Park, and for other purposes.</official-title>

		<section id="H706619921BC042E6B5CA309A54233AFE" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Visitor Center for Joshua Tree National Park</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">The California Desert Protection Act of 1994 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/16/410aaa">16 U.S.C. 410aaa et seq.</external-xref>) is amended by inserting
			 after section 407 the following:</text>
			<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H985399504EC846BE99E099D7A87C983B" style="OLC">
				<section id="HC6EE8589FA944CD881C65873F9376010"><enum>408.</enum><header>Visitor Center</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">The Secretary is authorized to acquire not more than five acres of land and interests in land, and
			 improvements thereon, outside the boundaries of Joshua Tree National Park,
			 in the unincorporated village of Joshua Tree, for the purpose of operating
			 a visitor center. The Secretary shall modify the boundary of the park to
			 include the land acquired under this section as a noncontiguous parcel.
			 Lands and facilities acquired under this section—</text>
					<paragraph id="HFEEA96C47F1C4E9ABDB66953A7A71CC4"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">may include the property currently owned by the Joshua Tree National Park Association and commonly
			 referred to as the <quote>Joshua Tree National Park Visitor Center</quote>;</text>
					</paragraph><paragraph id="HC7C97F024FCF4CC8B785F5F132636467"><enum>(2)</enum><text>shall be administered by the Secretary as part of Joshua Tree National Park; and</text>
					</paragraph><paragraph id="H66148D55E772496DABBD591B27B8C90B"><enum>(3)</enum><text>may be acquired only with the consent of the owner, by donation, purchase with donated or
			 appropriated funds, or exchange.</text></paragraph></section><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
