		<section id="H7FF087B8EFFD4094965D19A355B986ED" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection Small Business Advisory Board Act</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="HD6DF789B83AA484097F60ED70850BD14" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>Establishment of a Small Business Advisory Board within the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection</header>
			<subsection id="H8E8ED5D4233C4BA7B7DFA78DB2CF06FC"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Consumer Financial Protection Act of 2010 is amended by inserting after section 1014 (12 U.S.C.
			 5494) the following new section:</text>
				<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H75FA555BC21446F0936A74F43BC527F5" style="OLC">
					<section id="HBD588CC2EE8944FE845BEE9D867E585C"><enum>1014A.</enum><header>Small Business Advisory Board</header>
						<subsection id="HC2EE5F5C50C44B51B26E6847DE5D340D"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Establishment</header><text>The Director shall establish a Small Business Advisory Board—</text>
							<paragraph id="H7FF152EB17374747B9683609FE8EF4F9"><enum>(1)</enum><text>to advise and consult with the Bureau in the exercise of the Bureau’s functions under the Federal
			 consumer financial laws applicable to eligible financial products or
			 services; and</text>
							</paragraph><paragraph id="H90F59EAF1EAD40F2B9A4F1C67ADE93D8"><enum>(2)</enum><text>to provide information on emerging practices of small business concerns that provide eligible
			 financial products or services, including regional trends, concerns, and
			 other relevant information.</text>
							</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="HB0AC01C2A92944E8B4D5A916850FAC2C"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Membership</header>
							<paragraph id="HB73A1304040E4B43B2D3DBFED43B871E"><enum>(1)</enum><header>Number</header><text>The Director shall appoint no fewer than 12 members to the Small Business Advisory Board.</text>
							</paragraph><paragraph id="HE1E07A00DE3A407D8B782287A728CA5E"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Qualification</header><text>Members appointed pursuant to paragraph (1) shall be representatives of small business concerns
			 that provide eligible financial products or services.</text>
							</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="H644A5FFCD7274E6585336860EFEAFDBB"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Meetings</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Small Business Advisory Board—</text>
							<paragraph id="H4A58562B221C41D7951A31078E06F525"><enum>(1)</enum><text>shall meet from time to time at the call of the Director; and</text>
							</paragraph><paragraph id="H286B3C57C8C3426990E1FEC33DF2381F"><enum>(2)</enum><text>shall meet at least twice each year.</text>
							</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="H4868CD7EAA78459796E0EA3E0D885A7A"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Compensation and travel expenses</header><text>Members of the Small Business Advisory Board who are not full-time employees of the United States
			 shall—</text>
							<paragraph id="H3A17E89CCA504E038A39C6F4AC0BB0C0"><enum>(1)</enum><text>be entitled to receive compensation at a rate fixed by the Director while attending meetings of the
			 Small Business Advisory Board, including travel time; and</text>
							</paragraph><paragraph id="H20CF89C83B6447D7BECA4FA260C463C3"><enum>(2)</enum><text>be allowed travel expenses, including transportation and subsistence, while away from their homes
			 or regular places of business.</text>
							</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="HBA53B0D4C312490887FA500184150553"><enum>(e)</enum><header>Definitions</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In this section—</text>
							<paragraph id="H066E1C73F31B4C1BADEC946383004C6B"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">the term <term>eligible financial product or service</term> means a financial product or service that is offered or provided for use by consumers primarily
			 for personal, family, or household purposes as described in clause (i),
			 (iii), (v), (vi), or (ix) of section 1002(15)(A); and</text>
							</paragraph><paragraph id="HDC82E283F8084B2B988660FE7DA9C4C8"><enum>(2)</enum><text>the term <term>small business concern</term> has the meaning given such term in section 3 of the Small Business Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/15/632">15 U.S.C. 632</external-xref>).</text>
							</paragraph></subsection></section><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
			</subsection><subsection id="H42A1CE2FC3F848B0A20C34637F346D39"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Table of contents amendment</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The table of contents of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (12 U.S.C.
			 5301 et seq.) is amended by inserting after the item related to section
			 1014 the following new item:</text>
