		<official-title>To direct the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration to collect and maintain data on
			 the number of sexual assaults that occur on aircraft during flights in
			 passenger air transportation, and for other purposes.</official-title>

		<section id="HA14E0753F6754C0B85457AFA369FA777" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Protecting Airline Passengers from Sexual Assaults Act of 2014</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="HE5584375734A4C268619541D1B806794"><enum>2.</enum><header>Sexual assault data</header>
			<subsection id="HD899150588F847C4BAAFF692D4B1F814"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Not later than 1 year after the date of enactment of this Act, the Administrator of the Federal
			 Aviation Administration shall establish a program to collect and maintain
			 data on the number of sexual assaults that occur on aircraft during
			 flights in passenger air transportation.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="H79CDDE1D7AA74C52A9586375BB09C69B"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Data availability</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Administrator shall make available to the public on the primary Internet Web site of the
			 Federal Aviation Administration the data maintained under subsection (a).</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="H10F7EE380E1646C8A1E52C2A3090DA2F"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Definitions</header><text>In this section, the following definitions apply:</text>
				<paragraph id="H7AF9453AB5A34E768DC6135BAA1874CB"><enum>(1)</enum><header>Air transportation</header><text>The term <term>air transportation</term> has the meaning given that term in <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/49/40102">section 40102(a)(5)</external-xref> of title 49, United States Code, and
			 includes intrastate air transportation.</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="H16F263E8E91F4B549DFA033ABACE5A52"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Aircraft</header><text>The term <term>aircraft</term> has the meaning given that term in <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/49/40102">section 40102(a)(6)</external-xref> of title 49, United States Code.</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="H70F6AE2A45BE44F592C31267DDD0F70D"><enum>(3)</enum><header>Intrastate air transportation</header><text>The term <term>intrastate air transportation</term> has the meaning given that term in <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/49/40102">section 40102(a)(27)</external-xref> of title 49, United States Code.</text>
