		<official-title>To authorize the Export-Import Bank of the United States to use 3 percent of its profits for
			 administrative expenses.</official-title>

		<section id="HEA54E52714F744EBA2201185B42DBB03" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Increasing American Jobs Through More Exports Act</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="H1637E95CC38C4893B7C48DFE8BE0E26F"><enum>2.</enum><header>Authority of the Export-Import Bank to use 3 percent of its profits for administrative expenses</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 3 of the Export-Import Bank Act of 1945 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/12/635a">12 U.S.C. 635a</external-xref>) is amended by adding at the end
			 the following;</text>
			<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H5E0C0FB140FD4BB99CCA09CAD70009A5" style="OLC">
				<subsection id="HD3D3351C9F2F4E2BBC51F6B904604DE4"><enum>(k)</enum><header>Authority To use portion of bank surplus for administrative expenses</header>
					<paragraph id="HE329B6A29AA541C0BE9651A7FC305A8F"><enum>(1)</enum><header>Authority</header>
						<subparagraph id="H370C3D7F78F64AD8A9ACF1E53836FD9E"><enum>(A)</enum><header>In general</header><text>Subject to paragraph (2), in addition to any other amounts that the Bank may use to cover
			 administrative expenses of the Bank, the Bank may use not more than 3
			 percent of the surplus (as defined in subsection (j)(2), without regard to
			 subparagraph (B)(ii) of such subsection) of the Bank, for each fiscal year
			 in the 5-year period beginning with the date of the enactment of this
			 paragraph, to cover administrative expenses of the Bank.</text>
						</subparagraph><subparagraph id="H379CAAEB3D9B43CBBC7FD28E2648EE4A"><enum>(B)</enum><header>Use for regional offices</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Of the amount of the surplus which may be used as provided in subparagraph (A), the Bank shall use
			 at least <fraction>1/3</fraction> to expand or establish regional offices of the Bank.</text>
						</subparagraph></paragraph><paragraph id="H4A565FB2A7AD42C5AA4962B5621C2B1F"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Subject to appropriations</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The authority provided by paragraph (1) may be exercised only to such extent and in such amounts as
			 are provided in advance in appropriations Acts.</text></paragraph></subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
