		<official-title>To direct the Secretary of Transportation to temporarily waive certain vehicle weight limits for
			 covered logging vehicles, and for other purposes.</official-title>

		<section id="H7800B5EC66B64518B0ADA34B71C64D2D" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Winter Roads Safety Act of 2014</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="HDCDE899D51B3416FB448B64999444011"><enum>2.</enum><header>Temporary waiver</header>
			<subsection id="H9F2A27DBB8AE4DDEBC5C53CCCC286BD9"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">During the period beginning on the date of enactment of this Act and ending on April 15, 2014, the
			 Secretary of Transportation shall waive, for a covered logging vehicle,
			 the application of any vehicle weight limit established under section 127
			 of title 23, United States Code.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="H73F0B837435849DEBD86617C1C6E101D"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Covered logging vehicle defined</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In this section, the term <term>covered logging vehicle</term> means a vehicle that—</text>
				<paragraph id="H437EDC231D954BA1B192D525FB77B478"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">is transporting raw or unfinished forest products, including logs, pulpwood, biomass, or wood
			 chips;</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="H9E9C4261080D4321BB84EAA8D4DE75B0"><enum>(2)</enum><text>has a gross vehicle weight of not more than 99,000 pounds;</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="H6F35B39676F74B58847097BD16487250"><enum>(3)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">has not less than 6 axles; and</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="HC61E4E5D7EA7414C8F8DEC392C0FD79C"><enum>(4)</enum><text>is operating on a segment of—</text>
					<subparagraph id="HED8E54441A4546D9A48E24ED55DEE833"><enum>(A)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Interstate Route 35 in Minnesota from mile marker 235.4 to mile marker 259.552;</text>
					</subparagraph><subparagraph id="HFEA31F362DF640BAB0A2AAC5072EF94D"><enum>(B)</enum><text>Interstate Route 535 in Minnesota from mile marker 0 to mile marker 1.571;</text>
					</subparagraph><subparagraph id="H3DC18DBEE67E464DA0BD3C7D0DADF447"><enum>(C)</enum><text>Interstate Route 39 in Wisconsin from mile marker 175.8 to mile marker 189; or</text>
					</subparagraph><subparagraph id="H1BFFF7A79A9448DBA45E656566B8B056"><enum>(D)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Interstate Route 535 in Wisconsin from mile marker 0 to mile marker 1.19.</text>
					</subparagraph></paragraph></subsection></section></legis-body>
