		<official-title>To amend the National Flood Insurance Act of 1968 to provide for flood insurance policies with
			 higher deductibles and lower rates.</official-title>

		<section id="H69F22FBF2699488FA0DFEA708B7C9953" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Flood Insurance Flexibility Act of 2014</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="H33BD9764203C4024B8FEE0E97F0D8725"><enum>2.</enum><header>Optional high-deductible policies for certain properties</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 1306 of the National Flood Insurance Act of 1968 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/4013">42 U.S.C. 4013</external-xref>) is amended by adding at
			 the end the following new subsection:</text>
			<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HEDBDA6A0310046D18C660351C2303641" style="OLC">
				<subsection id="HEEA84C097D684C32BA502B3A79A8A794"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Optional high-Deductible policies</header>
					<paragraph id="H0B29201D28664C17BBD1A1C94573C31F"><enum>(1)</enum><header>Option</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Administrator shall make flood insurance coverage available for properties, at the option of
			 the insured, having premiums and deductibles in the amounts provided under
			 paragraph (2).</text>
					</paragraph><paragraph id="HC1174B9C55C04C25A17F1404BE01C2A8"><enum>(2)</enum><header>High-deductibles; risk premium rate</header><text>Flood insurance coverage made available pursuant to this subsection for a property shall—</text>
						<subparagraph id="HB72A4EC73021415381DA9F7E365335A7"><enum>(A)</enum><text>have an annual loss-deductible for damage to the covered property in an amount not less than
			 $10,000 (as such amount is adjusted for inflation to the nearest $1,000 by
			 the Administrator, using such index as the Administrator determines is
			 appropriate), and the Administrator may make coverage available having
			 such higher loss-deductible amounts as the Administrator considers
			 feasible and appropriate; and</text>
						</subparagraph><subparagraph id="H237B2C3D2B7F48488075DAF4CA3247DF"><enum>(B)</enum><text>subject to any other provision of this Act, have a chargeable risk premium rate that, as determined
			 by the Administrator, accurately reflects the current risk of flood to
			 such property and the deductible under such coverage pursuant to
			 subparagraph (A).</text>
