<section id="H340B4873A3AD4FDBBFFE57532516499D" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Ashland Breakwater Light Transfer Act</short-title></quote>.</text> </section> 
<section id="HE3D1A68E05794D4FA60B5206B6530713" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>Boundary adjustment to include lighthouse</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">The Act entitled <quote>An Act to provide for the establishment of the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore in the State of Wisconsin, and for other purposes.</quote>, approved September 26, 1970 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/16/460w">16 U.S.C. 460w et seq.</external-xref>) is amended as follows:</text> 
<paragraph id="HA2FAB77831E34C04B480647597560C24"><enum>(1)</enum><text>In the first section as follows:</text> 
<subparagraph id="H8C687A631F6E45CDACC422A7E734ACD2"><enum>(A)</enum><text>In subsection (a)—</text> 
<clause id="H1A6120A083434E2391895FB4226E579E"><enum>(i)</enum><text>by striking <quote>the area</quote> and inserting <quote>The area</quote>; and</text> </clause> 
<clause id="HF1662FBAC98C4CD9992FF6360196721E"><enum>(ii)</enum><text>by striking <quote>; and</quote> and inserting a period.</text> </clause></subparagraph> 
<subparagraph id="HE781A07F447E4D8CB95E891173AA480C"><enum>(B)</enum><text>In subsection (b), by striking the final period.</text> </subparagraph>

<paragraph id="H2B3CC57F0FCE4A72A1EE612C53D0D35F"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Ashland Harbor Breakwater Light generally depicted on the map titled <quote>Ashland Harbor Breakwater Light Addition to Apostle Islands National Lakeshore</quote> and dated February 11, 2014, located at the end of the breakwater on Chequamegon Bay, Wisconsin.</text> </paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H209149DD32544FCE8C22C83CF6B3BAC5"><enum>(2)</enum><text>Congress does not intend for the designation of the property under paragraph (1) to create a protective perimeter or buffer zone around the boundary of that property.</text> </paragraph></subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block> </subparagraph></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="HC8C1EEECADB046DAAA7D78DE19FF5F6E"><enum>(2)</enum><text>In section 3, by striking <quote>: <italic>Provided</italic></quote> and all that follows through the period.</text> </paragraph>

<subsection id="H8FCCA676F21B4DB59E6340EAD143A71F"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Federal use</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Rights to use a portion of the land and facilities of the lakeshore may be retained by—</text> 
<paragraph id="HEEE78A1210F84FF3A3EA0ECDA96D112F"><enum>(1)</enum><text>the Army Corps of Engineers for breakwater maintenance; and</text> </paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H3F306589DE224CFD83E85490F2C3F97C"><enum>(2)</enum><text>the Coast Guard for Federal aids to navigation (as defined in section 308(e)(4) of <external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/89/665">Public Law 89–665</external-xref>; <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/16/470w-7">16 U.S.C. 470w–7(e)(4)</external-xref>).</text> </paragraph></subsection> 
<subsection id="HB8B5FEC6FFD849FB9E105306270DCB5F"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Cooperation</header><text>The National Park Service, the Coast Guard, and the Army Corps of Engineers shall cooperate in their operations so as to not lower the standards evolved for the operation of units of the National Park System, Federal aids to navigation, and harbor maintenance under Federal law with respect to the lakeshore.</text> </subsection> 
<subsection id="H980B51B7EF864BE0A2913114084E5082"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Clarification of authority</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Pursuant to existing authorities, the Secretary may enter into agreements with the City of Ashland, County of Ashland, and County of Bayfield, Wisconsin, for the purpose of cooperative law enforcement and emergency services within the boundaries of the lakeshore.</text></subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block> </subparagraph></paragraph></section> 
<section id="H6BF53097391F4919B5A402D4C96699C7"><enum>3.</enum><header>No authorization for increased appropriation</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Nothing in this Act or the amendments made by this Act shall be construed to increase the amount of appropriations that are authorized to be appropriated for any fiscal year.</text> </section>
