			 tributaries for study for potential inclusion in the National Wild and

		<section id="H391CE609FCD648489FB28AD5B9430C0E" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>York River Wild and Scenic River Study Act of 2014</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="HC63BC6B62F094380A4CEF9C55EEB42F4"><enum>2.</enum><header>Designation for study</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 5(a) of the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/16/1276">16 U.S.C. 1276(a)</external-xref>) is amended by adding at the end the following:</text>
			<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H31F3E9BC0633489BA0EAD88AE52F914B" style="OLC">
				<paragraph id="HB79E3B6E4D6342979B83FF247F870EED"><enum>(_)</enum><header>York River, Maine</header>
					<subparagraph commented="no" display-inline="yes-display-inline" id="H176C748EE0714D229F12312695703E0B"><enum>(A)</enum><text>The York River that flows 11.25 miles from its headwaters at York Pond to the mouth of the river at
			 York Harbor, and all associated tributaries.</text>
					</subparagraph><subparagraph id="HB3E36C70CC29405A99143D5AF3CB06C8" indent="up1"><enum>(B)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The study conducted under this paragraph shall—</text>
						<clause id="HD15EE2E3BAF0466E9D228382C24AA1FC"><enum>(i)</enum><text>determine the effect of the designation on—</text>
							<subclause id="H68C924A721654D519593DB4FF0384A5D"><enum>(I)</enum><text>existing commercial and recreational activities, such as hunting, fishing, trapping, recreational
			 shooting, motor boat use, bridge construction;</text>
							</subclause><subclause id="HF3B4FAB878A84EB69BEE5F64453EFE77"><enum>(II)</enum><text>the authorization, construction, operation, maintenance, or improvement of energy production and
			 transmission infrastructure; and</text>
							</subclause><subclause id="HD4B98ECBC5114C5686BEAA0A52349623"><enum>(III)</enum><text>the authority of State and local governments to manage those activities; and</text>
							</subclause></clause><clause id="HBFA57F1C015342E09813FAD9E52CD69E"><enum>(ii)</enum><text>identify—</text>
							<subclause id="HB5F686BFBD7E457D9053E4767405C35D"><enum>(I)</enum><text>all authorities that will authorize or require the Secretary to influence local land use decisions
			 (such as zoning) or place restrictions on non-Federal land if designated
			 under this Act;</text>
							</subclause><subclause id="HE6AF3140F068447F9BC9C2ED0B32FFA1"><enum>(II)</enum><text>all authorities that the Secretary may use to condemn property; and</text>
							</subclause><subclause id="HDE23363DC3054F53B81F0FD4EFBA77D9"><enum>(III)</enum><text>all private property located in the area studied under this paragraph.</text></subclause></clause></subparagraph></paragraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
		</section><section id="H2DB247C063C9485888AD0B55E4431DC9"><enum>3.</enum><header>Study and report</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 5(b) of the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/16/1276">16 U.S.C. 1276(b)</external-xref>) is amended by adding at the end the following:</text>
			<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H02F815D3F5EE4F83A8DDAE1EBEAE41F6" style="OLC">
				<paragraph id="H46439295EB3E40189259C59DA0B66846"><enum>(_)</enum><header>York River, Maine</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The study of the York River, Maine, named in paragraph (_) of subsection (a) shall be completed by
			 the Secretary of the Interior and the report thereon submitted to Congress
			 not later than 3 years after the date on <pagebreak></pagebreak>which funds are made available to
			 carry out this paragraph.</text></paragraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
