		<official-title>To eliminate the prerequisite of direct appropriations
		  relating to collection of health data and to modify standards for measuring
		  sexual orientation and gender identity.</official-title>

		<section id="idE2AEF56993624A879933BABF6DF709E5" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Strengthening Health Disparities Data
			 Collection Act</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="id979DDEDD71544A72B7004B09F19DCFC5"><enum>2.</enum><header>Standards for
			 measuring sexual orientation and gender identity in collection of health
			 data</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 3101(a) of the
			 Public Health Service Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/300kk">42 U.S.C. 300kk(a)</external-xref>) is amended—</text>
			<paragraph id="HA2BDE66777FF451F826CABFC9289D073"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in paragraph
			 (1)(A), by inserting <quote>sexual orientation, gender identity,</quote> before
			 <quote>and disability status</quote>;</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="HA62C7742A4F04B0791C33ED5FC27238D"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in paragraph
			 (1)(C), by inserting <quote>sexual orientation, gender identity,</quote> before
			 <quote>and disability status</quote>; and</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H4E2B4547BB6246579AC9BB7C634D007F"><enum>(3)</enum><text>in paragraph
			 (2)(B), by inserting <quote>sexual orientation, gender identity,</quote> before
			 <quote>and disability status</quote>.</text>
			</paragraph></section><section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id4FE03C4CB5FC45248F70FE3A47DA4E62"><enum>3.</enum><header>Elimination of
			 prerequisite of direct appropriations for data collection and
			 analysis</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 3101 of the
			 Public Health Service Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/300kk">42 U.S.C. 300kk</external-xref>) is amended—</text>
			<paragraph commented="no" id="HD19B86B5F6274F00A059B9837DEB9CDF"><enum>(1)</enum><text>by striking
			 subsection (h); and</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H29543EADFD1B463B8DE11168A399FBCB"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by redesignating
			 subsection (i) as subsection (h).</text>
