		<official-title>To reallocate Federal judgeships for the courts of
		  appeals, and for other purposes.</official-title>

		<section id="idAEE8B37E94F648E0A1CF3AC65DCC5C69" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Court Efficiency Act of
			 2013</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="id09449580D3F044F0B1F935FE16E137AF" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>Reallocation of
			 Federal judgeships</header>
			<subsection id="id022F3AC472D74677985FC417EF029CF0"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In
			 general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The President shall
			 appoint, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate—</text>
				<paragraph id="id28BABA3A30A940DEB5272306E3DB9437"><enum>(1)</enum><text>1 additional
			 circuit judge for the second circuit court of appeals; and</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="id3349E616125643F9B17CB4CEDF1BC85C"><enum>(2)</enum><text>1 additional
			 circuit judge for the eleventh circuit court of appeals.</text>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="id504E6B5F15C04ECB8631C83660FBCB66"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Conforming
			 amendment</header><text><external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/28/44">Section 44(a)</external-xref> of title 28, United States Code, is
			 amended in the table—</text>
				<paragraph id="id314e70c638b5471c9d8fe3b6d11198b9"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in the item
			 relating to the District of Columbia circuit court of appeals, by striking
			 <quote>11</quote> and inserting <quote>8</quote>;</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="ide87758459cc94c728005309ff40d0678"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in the item
			 relating to the second circuit court of appeals, by striking <quote>13</quote>
			 and inserting <quote>14</quote>; and</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="id56525eb05d314818bfdaf8fb778cbee4"><enum>(3)</enum><text>in the item
			 relating to the eleventh circuit court of appeals, by striking
			 <quote>12</quote> and inserting <quote>13</quote>.</text>
