		  interests in that land from location, entry, and patent under the mining laws
		  and disposition under the mineral and geothermal leasing laws.</official-title></form><legis-body display-enacting-clause="yes-display-enacting-clause"><section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id6eb2bd37-b3ea-47d4-b675-f729b96c8cc3" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>North Fork Watershed Protection Act of
			 2013</short-title></quote>.</text></section><section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id05774fbd-5aa3-43cc-a6bc-6551d11ed473" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Definitions</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">In this Act:</text><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id42ec85b9-aa91-405c-8095-b8ca0912ee78"><enum>(1)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Eligible Federal land</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The term <term>eligible Federal land</term>
			 means—</text><subparagraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id42A02F0F5C8243EDB2319ABE9B5AEF52"><enum>(A)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">any federally owned land or interest in
			 land depicted on the Map as within the North Fork Federal Lands Withdrawal
			 Area; or</text></subparagraph><subparagraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idC91582A361A44A40A98ECE597D96F260"><enum>(B)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">any land or interest in land located within
			 the North Fork Federal Lands Withdrawal Area that is acquired by the Federal
			 Government after the date of enactment of this Act.</text></subparagraph></paragraph><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="iddfdec548-bc33-4c6b-9929-df7ee1e9ee02"><enum>(2)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Map</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The term <term>Map</term> means the Bureau
			 of Land Management map entitled <quote>North Fork Federal Lands Withdrawal
			 Area</quote> and dated June 9, 2010.</text></paragraph></section><section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idD230297477CE4A4B9AE551FCFC3A203C" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>3.</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Withdrawal</header><subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id42c240f4-9f2c-4258-8103-61f4ef2250fa"><enum>(a)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Withdrawal</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Subject to valid existing rights, the
			 eligible Federal land is withdrawn from—</text><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id8cc4a693-f70a-447d-99ab-a3f58ea6df7c"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">all forms of location, entry, and patent
			 under the mining laws; and</text></paragraph><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id5fd131de-8c49-40f9-a587-26863eaaeab8"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">disposition under all laws relating to
			 mineral leasing and geothermal leasing.</text></paragraph></subsection><subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id8a8d222c-d1d5-43e3-9650-3584d9b2a294"><enum>(b)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Availability of map</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Not later than 30 days after the date of
			 enactment of this Act, the Map shall be made available to the public at each
			 appropriate office of the Bureau of Land Management.</text></subsection><subsection changed="added" commented="no" committee-id="SSEG00" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idCF8809EB0EB74D9EA51F8C586329AAB5" reported-display-style="italic"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Effect of
			 section</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Nothing in this
			 section prohibits the Secretary of the Interior from taking any action
			 necessary to complete any requirement under the National Environmental Policy
			 Act of 1969 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/4321">42 U.S.C. 4321 et seq.</external-xref>) or the Endangered Species Act of 1973 (16
			 U.S.C. 1531 et seq.) required for permitting surface-disturbing activity to
			 occur on any lease issued before the date of enactment of this Act.</text></subsection></section></legis-body><endorsement><action-date>September 10, 2013</action-date><action-desc>Reported
