		  <quote><short-title>Premium Disclosure Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section><section id="id8F989A7AFFC7478F95F8BB985A0A9015"><enum>2.</enum><header>Annual open enrollment periods under the ACA</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 1311(c)(6) of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/18031">42 U.S.C. 18031(c)(6)</external-xref>) is amended—</text><paragraph id="id7520B0E6733942E9BF37505360AD9F61"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">by striking subparagraph (B) and inserting the following:</text><quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id4C58A6B55FB04502AEBEBF9E60EF0ABE" style="OLC"><subparagraph id="id653AE194A2954AA38E9E66FB8C2FEE53"><enum>(B)</enum><text>annual open enrollment periods that commence on October 15 and end on December 7 of each calendar year after the initial open enrollment period, and such dates shall not be subject to modification by any action of the Secretary;</text></subparagraph><after-quoted-block>; and</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></paragraph><paragraph id="idFC66F38B30994E18A95E622E7CDD66EF"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by adding at the end the following flush sentence:</text><quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idBD1050A6A22C4B579140821BBC9B6387" style="OLC"><quoted-block-continuation-text quoted-block-continuation-text-level="paragraph">The Secretary shall carry out activities that are designed to broadly disseminate information to qualified individuals (and individuals who may become qualified individuals) concerning open enrollment periods, monthly    beneficiary premiums, and beneficiary cost-sharing requirements under qualified health plans under this part. Such activities shall ensure that such   information is first made available to individuals at least 30 days prior to the initial open enrollment period.</quoted-block-continuation-text><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></paragraph></section></legis-body></bill>
