		  purposes.</official-title></form><legis-body id="HDFC00C501E8146638ACD4EC13203C188" style="OLC"><section id="H4597C7AEC862413AAB4B16EAC73B185B" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Emergency Information Improvement Act
			 of 2013</short-title></quote>.</text></section><section id="H1D77216E164A45F6850E0D2101184091"><enum>2.</enum><header>Eligibility of
			 public broadcasting facilities for certain disaster assistance</header><subsection id="H1A397AFB673E4E6E8C67A9002C0346CF"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Private
			 nonprofit facility defined</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 102(11)(B) of the Robert T.
			 Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/5122">42 U.S.C. 5122(11)(B)</external-xref>)
			 is amended by inserting <quote>public broadcasting facilities,</quote> after
			 <quote>workshops,</quote>.</text></subsection><subsection id="HD3B18CD951F941D18027C55463E6A136"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Critical
			 services defined</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section
			 406(a)(3)(B) of the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance
			 Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/5172">42 U.S.C. 5172(a)(3)(B)</external-xref>) is amended by striking
			 <quote>communications,</quote> and inserting <quote>communications (including
			 broadcast and telecommunications),</quote>.</text></subsection><subsection id="HED5B1406363B4D49A95F31325239D60E"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Applicability</header><text>The
			 amendments made by this section shall apply to a major disaster declared by the
			 President under the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance
			 Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/5121">42 U.S.C. 5121 et seq.</external-xref>) on or after October 28, 2012.</text></subsection></section></legis-body></bill>
