			 consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the

		<section id="HBB8585B08DD649E595DD6FE112F42F58" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>EDA Elimination Act of
			 2013</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="H6997DA35AE27432CB5F06A86BEF2E31F"><enum>2.</enum><header>Termination of
			 Economic Development Administration</header>
			<subsection display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H2C36014D1B5A49DD895ABDA5E840BF2F"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Termination</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Economic Development Administration is
			 terminated.</text>
			</subsection><subsection commented="no" id="H4AF0C484CC8F43E9B67BE80FB09C2099"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Repeal</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Public Works and Economic Development
			 Act of 1965 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/3121">42 U.S.C. 3121 et seq.</external-xref>) is repealed.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="HAF7BEAD7A35941FCA602D5ACD209DCF2"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Conclusion of
			 business</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Secretary of
			 Commerce shall take such actions as may be necessary and appropriate to
			 conclude the outstanding affairs of the Economic Development Administration,
			 including dispositions of personnel, assets, and obligations.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="H9E6766BE18A04D5F95AF1F8D8C581C74"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Limitation on
			 statutory construction</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">This
			 section may not be construed to prevent the expenditure of any funds received
			 before the effective date of this Act. Such funds shall be subject to the laws
			 and regulations that would have applied to the funds if this section had not
			 been enacted.</text>
			</subsection></section><section id="H56D1CE73C9384506805327086BEC16A8"><enum>3.</enum><header>Effective
			 date</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act shall take
			 effect on the first day of the first fiscal year beginning after the date of
			 enactment of this Act.</text>
