<subsection id="H970BB6BDA3104377928BC7727FA32246"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Extension</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Subsection (k) of section 211 of the VOW to Hire Heroes Act of 2011 (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/112/56">Public Law 112–56</external-xref>; <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/38/4100">38 U.S.C. 4100</external-xref> note) is amended by striking <quote>March 31, 2014</quote> and inserting <quote>March 31, 2016</quote>.</text></subsection> 
<subsection id="HB48E75716EF24698AABB351AB46FF666"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Number of eligible veterans</header><text>Subsection (a)(2) of such section is amended—</text> 
<paragraph id="H6E0AD0782A1543C4AE605B2BEA4A9D77"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in subparagraph (A), by striking <quote>and</quote> at the end;</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="HA0CF5C47D5154531B1F092F266C2104E"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in subparagraph (B), by striking the period at the end and inserting a semicolon; and</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H71F7F71DDDDE47FC9B726B4F89902F21"><enum>(3)</enum><text>by adding at the end the following new subparagraphs:</text>

<subsection id="HEF15C16C077144B2BAB0D7AEF0E31A3A"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Clarification of limitation on aggregate amount of assistance</header><text>Subsection (b) of such section is amended by striking <quote>up to 12 months of retraining assistance provided by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs</quote> and inserting <quote>an aggregate of not more than 12 months of retraining assistance provided by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs under this section</quote>.</text></subsection></section> 
<section id="H79318109ED8446369F305BB25B511231"><enum>102.</enum><header>Extension of authority of Secretary of Veterans Affairs to provide rehabilitation and vocational benefits to members of Armed Forces with severe injuries or illnesses</header> 
<subsection id="HDF37AEB1141C4E70B2700BADF18F8AB7"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text>Section 1631(b)(2) of the Wounded Warrior Act (title XVI of <external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/110/181">Public Law 110–181</external-xref>; <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/10/1071">10 U.S.C. 1071</external-xref> note) is amended by striking <quote>December 31, 2014</quote> and inserting <quote>December 31, 2016</quote>.</text></subsection> 
<subsection id="H2C6A533AE75048129CA5DEE18045B9E4"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Report</header> 
<paragraph id="H5E965B09E3334B408260F02A27F674AC"><enum>(1)</enum><header>In general</header><text>Not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Veterans Affairs shall submit to the appropriate committees of Congress a report on the benefits provided by the Secretary under section 1631(b) of such Act.</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H21236907E83B421B947CC145FEB68AA3"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Appropriate committees of congress</header><text>In this subsection, the term <term>appropriate committees of Congress</term> means—</text> 
<subparagraph id="HA63BB976802244C1B9C265EF907061D0"><enum>(A)</enum><text>the Committee on Armed Services and the Committee on Veterans' Affairs of the Senate; and</text></subparagraph> 
<subparagraph id="HD68F0E42627241E5932E0923E73FEE84"><enum>(B)</enum><text>the Committee on Armed Services and the Committee on Veterans' Affairs of the House of Representatives.</text></subparagraph></paragraph></subsection></section> 
<section id="HA755D2E6CE7445CE866690A39A2561B9"><enum>103.</enum><header>Extension of additional rehabilitation programs for persons who have exhausted rights to unemployment benefits under State law</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline"><external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/38/3102">Section 3102(b)(4)</external-xref> of title 38, United States Code, is amended by striking <quote>March 31, 2014</quote> and inserting <quote>March 31, 2016</quote>.</text></section> 
<section id="H17266317483F4C85B181C4E8A3708F77"><enum>104.</enum><header>Reauthorization of collaborative veterans' training, mentoring, and placement program</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Subsection (e) of <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/38/4104A">section 4104A</external-xref> of title 38, United States Code, is amended to read as follows:</text>

<paragraph id="H4EFD23C6BCF4421FA4E7D56ED2130236"><enum>(1)</enum><text>$4,500,000 for the period consisting of fiscal years 2012 and 2013.</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H201AAC9CEC014212964B754182C14242"><enum>(2)</enum><text>$4,500,000 for the period consisting of fiscal years 2014 and 2015.</text></paragraph></subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></section></title> 
<title id="H659B8EAA86D247F695E7E03654EC4D2A"><enum>II</enum><header>Building on our vow to hire heroes</header> 
<section id="HBC16EE515BCA430EBDBB2742682476E0"><enum>201.</enum><header>Unified employment portal for veterans</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline"><external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/38/4105">Section 4105</external-xref> of title 38, United States Code is amended by adding at the end the following:</text> 
<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HAB86168ED2794C75B243EF672E296DCB" style="OLC"> 
<subsection id="HC72A01F8ABDF468B92F3B4DC0FAB7A47"><enum>(c)</enum> 
<paragraph commented="no" display-inline="yes-display-inline" id="H289F96A76CD04D909DB4AE735CD217E4"><enum>(1)</enum><text>The Secretary shall develop a single, unified Federal web-based employment portal, for use by veterans, containing information regarding all Federal programs and activities concerning employment, unemployment, and training to the extent the programs and activities affect veterans.</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="HC3D7CD7CCF1049B0BD84670E94FA6111" indent="up1"><enum>(2)</enum><text>The Secretary shall work with representatives from the Department of Defense, the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Small Business Administration, and other Federal agencies and organizations concerned with veterans' issues, to determine an appropriate platform and implementing agency for the portal. The Secretary shall enter into an agreement with the other Federal agencies for the implementation of the portal.</text></paragraph></subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></section> 
<section id="H2E238EBBFD914630A94303A09FD0BCA6"><enum>202.</enum><header>Grants to hire veterans as first responders</header> 
<subsection id="H1E87F9DF3AE04681A85ACD6DC20001CB"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Grants for firefighters</header><text>The Secretary of Homeland Security shall award grants under section 34 of the Federal Fire Prevention and Control Act of 1974 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/15/2229a">15 U.S.C. 2229a</external-xref>) to hire veterans as firefighters.</text></subsection> 
<subsection id="H92B5A870DE4149D6A8432627F0B23F21"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Grants for law enforcement officers</header><text>The Attorney General shall award grants under part Q of title I of the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/3796dd">42 U.S.C. 3796dd et seq.</external-xref>) to hire veterans as law enforcement officers.</text></subsection> 
<subsection id="H9CA1F0E5F31D464A88E3BEAC523A1448"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Priority</header><text>In awarding grants under this section to hire veterans, the Secretary of Homeland Security and the Attorney General shall give priority to the hiring of veterans who served on active duty in the Armed Forces on or after September 11, 2011.</text></subsection> 
<subsection id="H822E2BF26C6144C7B693A3C855456202"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Authorization of appropriations</header><text>There is authorized to be appropriated to carry out this section $250,000,000.</text></subsection></section> 
<section id="H2157CE00FF8B41569C4115700A8C3DBA"><enum>203.</enum><header>Employment of veterans as evaluation factor in the awarding of Federal contracts</header> 
<subsection id="HB42D7359605447EC9B86DFBCAF4A2E0E"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Civilian contracts</header> 
<paragraph id="H1A9CF6A6B32E46C1AAFF69BFAEFFA301"><enum>(1)</enum><header>In general</header><text><external-xref legal-doc="usc-chapter" parsable-cite="usc-chapter/41/33">Chapter 33</external-xref> of title 41, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following new section:</text> 
<quoted-block act-name="" id="H7D1F1330CA3F4EF5B485645ECFB3461C" style="USC"> 
<section id="HB038B788CC6B4ED3AB4FE9E4A6883B59"><enum>3313.</enum><header>Employment of veterans as evaluation factor</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">The head of each executive agency shall consider favorably as an evaluation factor in solicitations for contracts and task or delivery order valued at or above $25,000,000 the employment by a prospective contractor of veterans constituting at least 5 percent of the contractor's workforce.</text></section><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H6B72EBE23DA44902BCD345087706C5AF"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Clerical amendment</header><text>The table of sections at the beginning of such chapter is amended by adding after the item relating to section 3312 the following new item:</text>

<paragraph id="HD98F8442A17148398BEA7943589F8962"><enum>(1)</enum><header>In general</header><text><external-xref legal-doc="usc-chapter" parsable-cite="usc-chapter/10/137">Chapter 137</external-xref> of title 10, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following new section:</text>

<subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H5EB4A74C8AEB4AF9BC4BED72D28B500E"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Regulations</header><text>Not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Federal Acquisition Regulatory Council shall amend the Federal Acquisition Regulation to carry out the provisions of <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/41/3313">section 3313</external-xref> of title 41, United States Code, and <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/10/2338">section 2338</external-xref> of title 10, United States Code, as added by subsections (a) and (b), respectively.</text></subsection></section></title> 
<title id="H3EF3E0BC32EF4EEE9054D116BE4EFF91"><enum>III</enum><header>Improving employment and reemployment rights of members of the uniformed services</header> 
<section id="H648293F6DD0B45E0A84BE8C542119B55"><enum>301.</enum><header>Enforcement of rights of members of uniformed services with respect to States and private employers</header> 
<subsection id="H810C7D12FEC244498045A798804B6794"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Action for relief</header><text>Subsection (a) of <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/38/4323">section 4323</external-xref> of title 38, United States Code, is amended—</text> 
<paragraph id="H0DC76E0E937247C5B467168BDBF0088A"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in paragraph (1)—</text> 
<subparagraph id="H608846652482482BADAF3D8D9CD4F701"><enum>(A)</enum><text>by striking <quote>appear on behalf of, and act as attorney for, the person on whose behalf the complaint is submitted and</quote>;</text></subparagraph> 
<subparagraph id="H5561E101D2204602B749616C62848E84"><enum>(B)</enum><text>by striking <quote>for such person</quote>;</text></subparagraph> 
<subparagraph id="H8B7E2B46683B401F879D1FCD263ACE2E"><enum>(C)</enum><text>by striking the fourth sentence; and</text></subparagraph> 
<subparagraph id="HE8F54F81ED004249BF2955F4EAF0954B"><enum>(D)</enum><text>by adding at the end the following: <quote>The person on whose behalf the complaint is referred may, upon timely application, intervene in such action, and may obtain such appropriate relief as is provided in subsections (d) and (e).</quote>;</text></subparagraph></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H825EC154537742C8AE5136618AFC69AC"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by striking paragraph (2) and inserting the following new paragraph (2):</text>

<paragraph id="HEC238F8591754FF38E33A9CCB87CC9E7" indent="up1"><enum>(2)</enum> 
<subparagraph commented="no" display-inline="yes-display-inline" id="H93B3454DDF0B494E8AF9C9CD13513D60"><enum>(A)</enum><text>Not later than 60 days after the date the Attorney General receives a referral under paragraph (1), the Attorney General shall transmit, in writing, to the person on whose behalf the complaint is submitted—</text> 
<clause id="H2579CC0BB2B8466C8E0C57A3562B03C3" indent="up1"><enum>(i)</enum><text>if the Attorney General has made a decision to commence an action for relief under paragraph (1) relating to the complaint of the person, notice of the decision; and</text></clause> 
<clause id="HB587925730A347E19CBE8DFE6B8BAB62" indent="up1"><enum>(ii)</enum><text>if the Attorney General has not made such a decision, notice of when the Attorney General expects to make such a decision.</text></clause></subparagraph> 
<subparagraph id="HACB771C0A5504FB09C02BD485B8E6399" indent="up1"><enum>(B)</enum><text>If the Attorney General notifies a person that the Attorney General expects to make a decision under subparagraph (A)(ii), the Attorney General shall, not later than 30 days after the date on which the Attorney General makes such decision, notify, in writing, the person of such decision.</text></subparagraph></paragraph><after-quoted-block>;</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="HA330AFB40CB049CD8749408DD6C802B4"><enum>(3)</enum><text>by redesignating paragraph (3) as paragraph (4);</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="HC825F79E133047DF9CF4F57C438AF663"><enum>(4)</enum><text>by inserting after paragraph (2) the following new paragraph (3):</text> 
<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H7B10A564774545A8BCBCB48652EA02FE" style="OLC"> 
<paragraph id="HC8F846718CA04BB581EB6F58279E94F2" indent="up1"><enum>(3)</enum><text>Whenever the Attorney General has reasonable cause to believe that a State (as an employer) or a private employer is engaged in a pattern or practice of resistance to the full enjoyment of any of the rights and benefits provided for under this chapter, and that the pattern or practice is of such a nature and is intended to deny the full exercise of such rights and benefits, the Attorney General may commence an action for relief under this chapter.</text></paragraph><after-quoted-block>; and</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H5C7834BF9DCE4CB3993EE7E13137100A"><enum>(5)</enum><text>in paragraph (4), as redesignated by paragraph (3), by striking subparagraph (C) and inserting the following new subparagraph (C):</text> 
<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H046A880C9A6A4AD19D9F7F1326680D56" style="OLC"> 
<subparagraph id="H2F4FD48FA8FA4BFBB75F494066849DAD" indent="up1"><enum>(C)</enum><text>has been notified by the Attorney General that the Attorney General does not intend to commence an action for relief under paragraph (1) with respect to the complaint under such paragraph.</text></subparagraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></paragraph></subsection> 
<subsection id="HC2CF60E2F65D46D6B1DA10C2A7B1C337"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Standing</header><text>Subsection (f) of such section is amended to read as follows:</text>

<section id="HA01C2DBE7FB54351A698DF622F709F86"><enum>302.</enum><header>Suspension, termination, or debarment of contractors for repeated violations of employment or reemployment rights of members of uniformed services</header> 
<subsection id="H982A1A8B847B4709AD8227E1267D615C"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Subchapter III of <external-xref legal-doc="usc-chapter" parsable-cite="usc-chapter/38/43">chapter 43</external-xref> of title 38, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following new section:</text>

<section id="H9246507D31214BBD93539FD3B1CD3A28"><enum>4328.</enum><header>Suspension, termination, or debarment of contractors</header> 
<subsection id="HA5FCC7EEA205487FAB51CB539B1B23D0"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Grounds for suspension, termination, or debarment</header><text>Payment under a contract awarded by a Federal executive agency may be suspended and the contract may be terminated, and the contractor who made the contract with the agency may be suspended or debarred in accordance with the requirements of this section, if the head of the agency determines that the contractor as an employer has repeatedly been convicted of failing or refusing to comply with one or more provisions of this chapter.</text></subsection> 
<subsection id="HC6242EDBA3044C49BCA961350503A5EE"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Effect of debarment</header><text>A contractor debarred by a final decision under this section is ineligible for award of a contract by a Federal executive agency, and for participation in a future procurement by a Federal executive agency, for a period specified in the decision, not to exceed five years.</text></subsection></section><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></subsection> 
<subsection id="H54415A9745034135976533DB9DDA9F5D"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Clerical amendment</header><text>The table of sections at the beginning of chapter 43 of such title is amended by inserting after the item relating to section 4327 the following new item:</text>

<subsection id="HA15147038CBB4828A90324805142AAA4"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Regulations</header><text>Not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Federal Acquisition Regulatory Council shall amend the Federal Acquisition Regulation to carry out <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/38/4328">section 4328</external-xref> of title 38, United States Code, as added by subsection (a).</text></subsection> 
<subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H422A2B928CC249C887C2B04CF45BB377"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Effective date</header><text><external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/38/4328">Section 4328</external-xref> of title 38, United States Code, as added by subsection (a), shall apply with respect to failures and refusals to comply with provisions of chapter 43 of such title occurring on or after the date of the enactment of this Act.</text></subsection> 
<subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H5941F238BF554583AA3F39AB50153F39"><enum>(e)</enum><header>Annual report</header><text>Section 4332(a) of such title is amended—</text> 
<paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H8B98D854916146D383A244DFA69678A5"><enum>(1)</enum><text>by redesignating paragraph (10) as paragraph (11); and</text></paragraph>

<section id="HA62867CF2E9D4C6B8AD5380685DB096D"><enum>303.</enum><header>Subpoena power for Special Counsel in enforcement of employment and reemployment rights of members of uniformed services with respect to Federal executive agencies</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline"><external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/38/4324">Section 4324</external-xref> of title 38, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following new subsection:</text>

<subsection id="H7F0FBB748CC040FAB7037A523204C74F"><enum>(e)</enum> 
<paragraph commented="no" display-inline="yes-display-inline" id="H0B3155369F1A49658F6D63094C61AD32"><enum>(1)</enum><text>In order to carry out the Special Counsel’s responsibilities under this section, the Special Counsel may require by subpoena the attendance and testimony of Federal employees and the production of documents from Federal employees and Federal executive agencies.</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="HF89A8722440B418CABC07BB3A4411A83" indent="up1"><enum>(2)</enum><text>In the case of contumacy or failure to obey a subpoena issued under paragraph (1), upon application by the Special Counsel, the Merit Systems Protection Board may issue an order requiring a Federal employee or Federal executive agency to comply with a subpoena of the Special Counsel.</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H7EFCAA5CFA4549AB9323E8804A6B8040" indent="up1"><enum>(3)</enum><text>An order issued under paragraph (2) may be enforced by the Merit Systems Protection Board in the same manner as any order issued under <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/5/1204">section 1204</external-xref> of title 5.</text></paragraph></subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></section> 
<section id="H6212A57FD6284181856F9886762516D5"><enum>304.</enum><header>Issuance and service of civil investigative demands by Attorney General</header> 
<subsection id="H038E06B455F04736BA9CAE5CF8A3FB54"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline"><external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/38/4323">Section 4323</external-xref> of title 38, United States Code, is amended—</text> 
<paragraph id="H7DEB561E70544AC3AE48F4BB0730446A"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">by redesignating subsection (i) as subsection (j); and</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H736865C7FDDC47DDA2A9D66F9B166C44"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">by inserting after subsection (h) the following new subsection (i):</text> 
<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H9DAB265E58A64F4A9BBEEDC9D6069D50" style="OLC"> 
<subsection id="H689A864C8F6F450292A9DCE3BE1F2C8D"><enum>(i)</enum><header>Issuance and service of civil investigative demands</header> 
<paragraph commented="no" display-inline="yes-display-inline" id="HDB5291EE67B34AB6A60A7A0195C62BE0"><enum>(1)</enum><text>Whenever the Attorney General has reason to believe that any person may be in possession, custody, or control of any documentary material relevant to an investigation under this subchapter, the Attorney General may, before commencing a civil action under subsection (a), issue in writing and serve upon such person, a civil investigative demand requiring—</text> 
<subparagraph id="HB2BF4F57B113413087EB2C7EF8A945A1" indent="up1"><enum>(A)</enum><text>the production of such documentary material for inspection and copying;</text></subparagraph> 
<subparagraph id="HE1D6747193014950A6C7EC9F3A7756E6" indent="up1"><enum>(B)</enum><text>that the custodian of such documentary material answer in writing written questions with respect to such documentary material; or</text></subparagraph> 
<subparagraph id="H79F1BB8A7BE044C3B6FB69DD126DC211" indent="up1"><enum>(C)</enum><text>the production of any combination of such documentary material or answers.</text></subparagraph></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="HE8232E6FBC5B4BD8ADEF226754B15A4D" indent="up1"><enum>(2)</enum><text>The provisions of <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/31/3733">section 3733</external-xref> of title 31 governing the authority to issue, use, and enforce civil investigative demands shall apply with respect to the authority to issue, use, and enforce civil investigative demands under this section, except that, for purposes of applying such section 3733—</text> 
<subparagraph id="H1223D17B9CCD4EE289A0D5AE42E8283B"><enum>(A)</enum><text>references to false claims law investigators or investigations shall be considered references to investigators or investigations under this subchapter;</text></subparagraph> 
<subparagraph id="H90EFED32EEB4450498ADD3121ED7B7EF"><enum>(B)</enum><text>references to interrogatories shall be considered references to written questions, and answers to such need not be under oath;</text></subparagraph> 
<subparagraph id="HAC46A7463F254BAAAD1208B799F577D4"><enum>(C)</enum><text>the definitions relating to <quote>false claims law</quote> shall not apply; and</text></subparagraph> 
<subparagraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H33BF6CF2D4FD4677A2304BB5623B2EBD"><enum>(D)</enum><text>provisions relating to qui tam relators shall not apply.</text></subparagraph></paragraph></subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></paragraph></subsection> 
<subsection id="H32F7166660764438BB40AC545B5DA42B"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Effective date</header><text>Subsection (i) of such section, as added by subsection (a)(2), shall take effect on the date of the enactment of this Act and shall apply with respect to violations of chapter 43 of such title alleged to have occurred on or after such date.</text></subsection> 
<subsection id="H45431D79167C4ABC98866A3EBF1A8A9D"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Annual reports</header><text>Section 4332(b)(2) of such title is amended—</text> 
<paragraph id="HC0BDA59E46574A359F75020B7692EE21"><enum>(1)</enum><text>by striking <quote>Not later than</quote> and inserting the following:</text> 
<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HE825B7AB11C7422F820599E013961AFD" style="OLC"> 
<subparagraph id="HFDEE155A1C8742B286D4CCF7CBEC2884"><enum>(A)</enum><header>In general</header><text>Not later than</text></subparagraph><after-quoted-block>; and</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H3A9319A2E3484E9AA0B77010ACDB2000"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by adding at the end the following new subparagraph:</text>

<subparagraph id="H068246BF4B454C3995CC95B33EA4E3F9"><enum>(B)</enum><header>Annual supplement on civil investigative demands</header> 
<clause id="HA82F3DD7FE5A47029B691F14D3B63D79"><enum>(i)</enum><header>In general</header><text>The Attorney General shall include with each report submitted under subparagraph (A) for the last quarter of each fiscal year a report on the issuance of civil investigative demands under section 4323(i) of this title during the most recently completed fiscal year.</text></clause> 
<clause id="H93FF6D79DF8F4E33BD59A701C72400CE"><enum>(ii)</enum><header>Elements</header><text>Each report submitted under clause (i) shall include the following for the fiscal year covered by the report:</text> 
<subclause id="HBC7319530C6A447593CB541EB05C25AC"><enum>(I)</enum><text>The number of times that a civil investigative demand was issued under section 4323(i) of this title.</text></subclause> 
<subclause commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HFE69264C27534653994937A3E0EE3844"><enum>(II)</enum><text>For each civil investigative demand issued under such section with respect to an investigation, whether such investigation resulted in a settlement, order, or judgment.</text></subclause></clause></subparagraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></paragraph></subsection></section></title>
