		<official-title>To amend title 18, United States Code, to provide
		  penalties for counterfeiting or selling Presidential inauguration tickets, and
		  for other purposes.</official-title>

		<section id="HE8E26ED5BA4741E5AD7AF329946DFE9D" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Selling or counterfeiting
			 Presidential inauguration tickets</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline"><external-xref legal-doc="usc-chapter" parsable-cite="usc-chapter/18/25">Chapter 25</external-xref> of title 18, United States Code,
			 is amended by adding at the end the following:</text>
			<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H9730E078B87E4CE78E5F0A2F41901161" style="USC">
				<section id="HAD5C1B3744734FD1B2AB7CBC174F554A"><enum>515.</enum><header>Selling or
				counterfeiting Presidential inauguration tickets</header>
					<subsection id="H760AA4A14E724D6FB62CFA9672D9093B"><enum>(a)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Whoever knowingly—</text>
						<paragraph id="H0B3F68659F4645A6A42A07A125AD11FC"><enum>(1)</enum><text>except as provided
				in subsection (b) transfers for money or property a ticket to a Presidential
				inaugural ceremony;</text>
						</paragraph><paragraph id="H3DB09930B8B744D099CEE0F2B50B4CC1"><enum>(2)</enum><text>with intent to
				defraud, falsely makes, forges, counterfeits, or alters a ticket to a
				Presidential inaugural ceremony; or</text>
						</paragraph><paragraph id="H712FE84EC63144069B3D85117CB5A650"><enum>(3)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">with intent to defraud, enters or attempts
				to enter a Presidential inaugural ceremony with a ticket, knowing that ticket
				to have been falsely made, forged, counterfeited or altered;</text>
						</paragraph><continuation-text continuation-text-level="subsection">shall be
				fined under this title or imprisoned not more than 6 months, or both.</continuation-text></subsection><subsection id="H39882E82F3554D898CC33FF27A97545B"><enum>(b)</enum><text>Subsection (a)
				does not apply to a transfer that occurs after the date on which the
				Presidential inaugural ceremony for which the ticket was issued takes
				place.</text>
					</subsection><subsection id="H508B14327F3D433A904F30CFC46F466A"><enum>(c)</enum><text>In this section,
				the term <term>Presidential inaugural ceremony</term> means a public inaugural
				ceremony at which the President elect or the Vice President elect take the oath
				or affirmation of office for the office of President of the United States or
				the office of Vice President of the United States,
				respectively.</text>
					</subsection></section><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
		</section><section id="H30160A0C6AFF4407941D763440DF8D84"><enum>2.</enum><header>Clerical
			 amendment</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">The table of
			 sections at the beginning of <external-xref legal-doc="usc-chapter" parsable-cite="usc-chapter/18/25">chapter 25</external-xref> of title 18, United States Code, is
			 amended by adding at the end the following new item:</text>
