		<section id="H48D1452207F34C93BD68692D738827CF" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Synthetic Cathinones Control Act of
			 2013</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="H13644DE0FF5C4766860A6B2F57A41DAA"><enum>2.</enum><header>Addition of
			 synthetic drugs to Schedule I of the Controlled Substances Act</header>
			<subsection id="HB3BA0DD3253248A78CF45F6CED0079EF"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In
			 general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Notwithstanding any
			 other provision of the Controlled Substances Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/21/801">21 U.S.C. 801 et seq.</external-xref>), the
			 Attorney General shall, not later than 60 days after the date of the enactment
			 of this Act, issue a final order that schedules the following substances on
			 schedule I under section 202(c) of that Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/21/812">21 U.S.C. 812(c)</external-xref>):</text>

			 amendment To remove deadwood</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Subsection (c) of section 202 of the
			 Controlled Substances Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/21/802">21 U.S.C. 802</external-xref>) is amended to read as follows:</text>

					<subsection id="H6D686D9DB1F8486B8E095E91A79B71FC"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Cross reference
				to Schedules of Controlled Substances</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Schedules I, II, III, IV, and V shall
				consist of the drugs and other substances (by whatever official name, common or
				usual name, chemical name, or brand name designated) that are set forth in the
				respective schedules in part 1308 of title 21, Code of Federal Regulations, as
				they may be amended from time to time, or in any successor
				regulation.</text>
