		<section id="H4AEFFAD4FA81414981EC250E8C40C256" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Inspector General Improvement Act of
			 2013</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="H7CC8890DB6A644AE9C5EAB5B9619DD44"><enum>2.</enum><header>Assignment of
			 Inspector General to certain Federal entities</header>
			<subsection commented="no" id="H76AEF0C9640349DF9CAE6FBAA6887230"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Agency for
			 International Development</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In
			 addition to the other duties and responsibilities specified in the Inspector
			 General Act of 1978 (5 U.S.C. App.) the Inspector General of the Agency for
			 International Development shall supervise, direct, and control audit and
			 investigative activities (relating to such audits) pertaining to programs and
			 operations within each of the following:</text>
				<paragraph commented="no" id="HA6FAF79156774AABB43F92B1053908F5"><enum>(1)</enum><text>Trade and
			 Development Agency.</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph commented="no" id="H258F439A1F724FD08187AD1170CFD566"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Japan–United States Friendship
			 Commission.</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph commented="no" id="H5DEB25C8EA3C47918C46EAD684E53A4B"><enum>(3)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Overseas Private Investment
			 Corporation.</text>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="HBF222599694246A1B78C0940AEDC15B7"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Board of
			 Governors of the Federal Reserve System</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In addition to the other duties and
			 responsibilities specified in the Inspector General Act of 1978 (5 U.S.C. App.)
			 the Inspector General of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System
			 shall supervise, direct, and control audit and investigative activities
			 (relating to such audits) pertaining to programs and operations within the
			 Financial Institutions Examination Council.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="H984B330923054F56B8C90A16C70100C8"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Department of
			 Defense</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In addition to the
			 other duties and responsibilities specified in the Inspector General Act of
			 1978 (5 U.S.C. App.) the Inspector General of the Department of Defense shall
			 supervise, direct, and control audit and investigative activities (relating to
			 such audits) pertaining to programs and operations within the Selective Service
			 System.</text>
			</subsection><subsection commented="no" id="H169E2CB299054AE88AC4976000E02078"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Department of
			 Education</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In addition to the
			 other duties and responsibilities specified in the Inspector General Act of
			 1978 (5 U.S.C. App.) the Inspector General of the Department of Education shall
			 supervise, direct, and control audit and investigative activities (relating to
			 such audits) pertaining to programs and operations within each of the
			 following:</text>

			 Foundation.</text>

			 Foundation.</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph commented="no" id="HAD669B2E58394E6799657B29844021E7"><enum>(3)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Morris K. Udall and Stewart L. Udall
			 Foundation.</text>

			 Relations Authority</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In
			 addition to the other duties and responsibilities specified in the Inspector
			 General Act of 1978 (5 U.S.C. App.) the Inspector General of the Federal Labor
			 Relations Authority shall supervise, direct, and control audit and
			 investigative activities (relating to such audits) pertaining to programs and
			 operations within the National Mediation Board.</text>
			</subsection><subsection commented="no" id="H9F6348B014884F428DB2B7107F224797"><enum>(f)</enum><header>Department of
			 Health and Human Services</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In
			 addition to the other duties and responsibilities specified in the Inspector
			 General Act of 1978 (5 U.S.C. App.) the Inspector General of the Department of
			 Health and Human Services shall supervise, direct, and control audit and
			 investigative activities (relating to such audits) pertaining to programs and
			 operations within each of the following:</text>

			 Compliance Board (Access Board).</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph commented="no" id="HA8B7C5F3DF4943229389B8A7E043E23D"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">U.S. Interagency Council on
			 Homelessness.</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph commented="no" id="H5181C23012364EAC9F9D8D1DAAD90418"><enum>(3)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Medicare Payment Advisory
			 Commission.</text>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="HC80BFCF94A614050BAF86587C5750195"><enum>(g)</enum><header>Department of
			 Homeland Security</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In addition
			 to the other duties and responsibilities specified in the Inspector General Act
			 of 1978 (5 U.S.C. App.) the Inspector General of the Department of Homeland
			 Security shall supervise, direct, and control audit and investigative
			 activities (relating to such audits) pertaining to programs and operations
			 within the Commission on the Prevention of Weapons of Mass Destruction
			 Proliferation and Terrorism.</text>
			</subsection><subsection commented="no" id="H4692736F81CD4C98BC8CD0890DA17D75"><enum>(h)</enum><header>Department of
			 the Interior</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In addition to
			 the other duties and responsibilities specified in the Inspector General Act of
			 1978 (5 U.S.C. App.) the Inspector General of the Department of the Interior
			 shall supervise, direct, and control audit and investigative activities
			 (relating to such audits) pertaining to programs and operations within each of
			 the following:</text>

			 Commission.</text>

			 Alaska Natural Gas Transportation.</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph commented="no" id="H0DE8AA41152F4D23911177DDB2480767"><enum>(3)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Valles Caldera Trust.</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph commented="no" id="H57E2FF69F532446EA60249C5918AF2B6"><enum>(4)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">International Boundary Commission: United
			 States and Canada.</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph commented="no" id="H15CADE6A18684A6F99526CE4459E117F"><enum>(5)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">International Joint Commission: United

			 National Park Service.</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph commented="no" id="H81874ECAC31B451ABE6BED2A1AAE4ECE"><enum>(10)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">International Boundary and Water
			 Commission.</text>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection commented="no" id="H859AE53341754FE7802792BC27A77D00"><enum>(i)</enum><header>Department of
			 Labor</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In addition to the
			 other duties and responsibilities specified in the Inspector General Act of
			 1978 (5 U.S.C. App.) the Inspector General of the Department of Labor shall
			 supervise, direct, and control audit and investigative activities (relating to
			 such audits) pertaining to programs and operations within each of the
			 following:</text>
				<paragraph commented="no" id="HBE8F9AFB9BA14340AE4649521B6E93D6"><enum>(1)</enum><text>Occupational
			 Safety and Health Review Commission.</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph commented="no" id="H31656E00BCD14172948AFC594BE7C998"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Federal Mine Safety and Health Review
			 Commission.</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph commented="no" id="H4421822CA72C40D6A70AB851FC6AA92C"><enum>(3)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Federal Mediation Conciliation
			 Service.</text>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="H76474A4691CF4146BDBCC4936D5937DA"><enum>(j)</enum><header>Department of
			 State</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In addition to the
			 other duties and responsibilities specified in the Inspector General Act of
			 1978 (5 U.S.C. App.) the Inspector General of the Department of State shall
			 supervise, direct, and control audit and investigative activities (relating to
			 such audits) pertaining to programs and operations within the United States
			 Commission on International Religious Freedom.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="H95E56567AE874801AE02C1B3C6CC070C"><enum>(k)</enum><header>Department of
			 the Treasury</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In addition to
			 the other duties and responsibilities specified in the Inspector General Act of
			 1978 (5 U.S.C. App.) the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration
			 shall supervise, direct, and control audit and investigative activities
			 (relating to such audits) pertaining to programs and operations within the
			 United States Tax Court.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="HA9CF5986D13A4E65827865937B750285"><enum>(l)</enum><header>Environmental
			 Protection Agency</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In addition
			 to the other duties and responsibilities specified in the Inspector General Act
			 of 1978 (5 U.S.C. App.) the Inspector General of the Environmental Protection
			 Agency shall supervise, direct, and control audit and investigative activities
			 (relating to such audits) pertaining to programs and operations within the
			 Marine Mammal Commission.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="H56124B9F062043A0B1F967D88B743D61"><enum>(m)</enum><header>General Services
			 Administration</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In addition to
			 the other duties and responsibilities specified in the Inspector General Act of
			 1978 (5 U.S.C. App.) the Inspector General of the General Services
			 Administration shall supervise, direct, and control audit and investigative
			 activities (relating to such audits) pertaining to programs and operations
			 within each of the following:</text>
				<paragraph id="H93DECB03C4B74C7785C64B05C394F82A"><enum>(1)</enum><text>National Capital
			 Planning Commission.</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="H40D83662B1BE4F2C8EAAACDC54E4979C"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Commission of Fine Arts.</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="H592C755CC81A4CF5BE99FEB513AC20D0"><enum>(3)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Committee for Purchase From People Who Are
			 Blind or Severely Disabled.</text>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection commented="no" id="H6C3A1809A43047C3A52390AC3CB2A484"><enum>(n)</enum><header>Government
			 Accountability Office</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In
			 addition to the other duties and responsibilities specified in section 705 of
			 title 31, United States Code, the Inspector General of the Government
			 Accountability Office shall supervise, direct, and control audit and
			 investigative activities (relating to such audits) pertaining to programs and
			 operations within the Administrative Conference of the United States.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="H69F63076A8E142F4A63F79DDC5F96F9E"><enum>(o)</enum><header>Intelligence
			 Community</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In addition to the
			 other duties and responsibilities specified in section 103H of the National
			 Security Act of 1947 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/50/403-3h">50 U.S.C. 403–3h</external-xref>), the Inspector General of the
			 Intelligence Community shall supervise, direct, and control audit and
			 investigative activities (relating to such audits) pertaining to programs and
			 operations within the Public Interest Declassification Board.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="H98EE2C8AAE14447BA51B7AD2D87ECBE7"><enum>(p)</enum><header>National
			 Archives and Records Administration</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In addition to the other duties and
			 responsibilities specified in the Inspector General Act of 1978 (5 U.S.C. App.)
			 the Inspector General of the National Archives and Records Administration shall
			 supervise, direct, and control audit and investigative activities (relating to
			 such audits) pertaining to programs and operations within the Advisory Council
			 on Historic Preservation.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="H30B62EC9C21E49A586B8CDE8775980BC"><enum>(q)</enum><header>Nuclear
			 Regulatory Commission</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In
			 addition to the other duties and responsibilities specified in the Inspector
			 General Act of 1978 (5 U.S.C. App.) the Inspector General of the Nuclear
			 Regulatory Commission shall supervise, direct, and control audit and
			 investigative activities (relating to such audits) pertaining to programs and
			 operations within the Nuclear Waste Technical Review Board.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="H82D63EA0C96B4A23898E2CEEFD6B62F5"><enum>(r)</enum><header>Office of
			 Personnel Management</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In
			 addition to the other duties and responsibilities specified in the Inspector
			 General Act of 1978 (5 U.S.C. App.) the Inspector General of the Office of
			 Personnel Management shall supervise, direct, and control audit and
			 investigative activities (relating to such audits) pertaining to programs and
			 operations within the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="HE2450D0FABAE477B96E5C756299A7732"><enum>(s)</enum><header>Smithsonian
			 Institution</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In addition to
			 the other duties and responsibilities specified in the Inspector General Act of
			 1978 (5 U.S.C. App.) the Inspector General of the Smithsonian Institution shall
			 supervise, direct, and control audit and investigative activities (relating to
			 such audits) pertaining to programs and operations within the United States
			 Holocaust Memorial Museum.</text>
