		<official-title>To amend <external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/106/206">Public Law 106–206</external-xref> to direct the Secretary of

		  assess annual fees for commercial filming activities on Federal land for film
		  crews of 5 persons or fewer.</official-title>

		<section id="H931E007BC9734594B5F63A9DD0EBC11A" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Purpose</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">The purpose of this title is to provide
			 commercial film crews of 5 persons or fewer access to film in areas designated
			 for public use during public hours on Federal lands and waterways.</text>
		</section><section id="H063F56BEA7C645F1B10B403A45EAA373"><enum>2.</enum><header>Annual Permit and
			 Fee for Film Crews of 5 persons or fewer</header>
			<subsection id="H523E1D16E79C49408F0C92DFBA2A760F"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In
			 General</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section (1)(a) of
			 <external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/106/206">Public Law 106–206</external-xref> (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/16/460l-6d">16 U.S.C. 460l–6d</external-xref>) is amended by—</text>
				<paragraph id="H1BA353F3A4AB46B89EDEB925E3EC4E66"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">redesignating paragraphs (1), (2), and (3)
			 as subparagraphs (A), (B), and (C), respectively;</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="H88D02DAD5FD04EF39BD522058B67CCCA"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">striking <quote>The Secretary of the
			 Interior</quote> and inserting <quote>(1)
			 <header-in-text level="paragraph" style="OLC">In
			 General</header-in-text>.—Except as provided by paragraph (3), the Secretary of
			 the Interior</quote>;</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="HDF12A6A869A84889B16872CDC312298D"><enum>(3)</enum><text>inserting
			 <quote>(2) <header-in-text level="paragraph" style="OLC">Other
			 considerations</header-in-text>.—</quote> before <quote>The Secretary may
			 include other factors</quote>; and</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="HFADD387C4E12439EB3E386E1010686E1"><enum>(4)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">adding at the end the following new
			 paragraph:</text>
					<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HA6E5155B1EC9402887FB7B89B75F6DAD" style="OLC">
						<paragraph id="HE4DDC1BA265A442FAD379E52E3792BDA"><enum>(3)</enum><header>Special rules
				for film crews of 5 persons or fewer</header>
							<subparagraph id="H67A397456EC941909F53BE1E5080DAC1"><enum>(A)</enum><text>For any film crew
				of 5 persons or fewer, the Secretary shall require a permit and assess an
				annual fee of $200 for commercial filming activities or similar projects on
				Federal lands and waterways administered by the Secretary. The permit shall be
				valid for commercial filming activities or similar projects that occur in areas
				designated for public use during public hours on all Federal lands waterways
				administered by the Secretary for a 12-month period beginning on the date of
				issuance of the permit.</text>
							</subparagraph><subparagraph id="HC964731B0FD544239EEFD84F8C36FEB8"><enum>(B)</enum><text>For persons
				holding a permit described in this paragraph, the Secretary shall not assess,
				during the effective period of the permit, any additional fee for commercial
				filming activities and similar projects that occur in areas designated for
				public use during public hours on Federal lands and waterways administered by
				the Secretary.</text>
							</subparagraph><subparagraph id="H82CF2D4A2FE140E688A99792509E5189"><enum>(C)</enum><text>In this paragraph,
				the term <term>film crew</term> includes all persons present on Federal land
				under the Secretary’s jurisdiction who are associated with the production of a
				certain film.</text>
							</subparagraph><subparagraph id="HD143553CC9664FC4A6ABF629198B68E9"><enum>(D)</enum><text>The Secretary
				shall not prohibit, as a motorized vehicle or under any other purposes, use of
				cameras or related equipment used for the purpose of commercial filming
				activities or similar projects in accordance with this paragraph on Federal
				lands and waterways administered by the
				Secretary.</text>
							</subparagraph></paragraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="H334524B2DB454082B202AB8239C6851F"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Recovery of
			 Costs</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section (1)(b) of
			 <external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/106/206">Public Law 106–206</external-xref> (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/16/460l-6d">16 U.S.C. 460l–6d</external-xref>) is amended by—</text>
				<paragraph id="HBB0DD3C3E0994D7EA8780F4FCB29A21D"><enum>(1)</enum><text>striking
			 <quote>collect any costs</quote> and inserting <quote>recover any
			 costs</quote>; and</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="H96D3AC530AAB485E9CF024FE437E71AF"><enum>(2)</enum><text>striking
			 <quote>similar project</quote> and inserting <quote>similar
			 projects</quote>.</text>
