		<official-title display="yes">To amend the Hobby Protection Act to make
		  unlawful the provision of assistance or support in violation of that Act, and
		  for other purposes.</official-title>

		<section id="HF9ECE74423F14BBAB1386536EDE57862" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Collectible Coin Protection
			 Act</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="HA1CDA8C3232248A8882A0005A652D04D"><enum>2.</enum><header>Provision of
			 assistance or support</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">The
			 Hobby Protection Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/15/2101">15 U.S.C. 2101 et seq.</external-xref>) is
			 amended—</text>
			<paragraph id="HF4BF1B56CAE84C85BE1EF9D15EAC2A27"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in section
			 2—</text>
				<subparagraph id="H34019568FA614081A3387F84FBFF09BD"><enum>(A)</enum><text>in subsection (b),
			 by inserting <quote>, or the sale in commerce</quote> after <quote>distribution
			 in commerce</quote>;</text>
				</subparagraph><subparagraph id="HB78DC2E8233449748CC46BC1E300F0D7"><enum>(B)</enum><text>by redesignating
			 subsection (d) as subsection (e) and inserting after subsection (c) the
			 following:</text>
					<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H36B001FE810C4300AA1BD461E2453BE0" style="traditional">
						<subsection id="H537EE453FD4A404FBCDEADF2EE39FDFE"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Provision of
				assistance or support</header><text>It shall be a violation of subsection (a)
				or (b) for a person to provide substantial assistance or support to any
				manufacturer, importer, or seller if that person knows or should have known
				that the manufacturer, importer, or seller is engaged in any act or practice
				that violates subsection (a) or (b).</text>
						</subsection><after-quoted-block>;
				and</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
				</subparagraph><subparagraph id="HD09016471BCB40518BA01BE0DECE7DF0"><enum>(C)</enum><text>in subsection (e)
			 (as so redesignated), by striking <quote>and (b)</quote> and inserting
			 <quote>(b), and (d)</quote>;</text>
				</subparagraph></paragraph><paragraph id="HB617A3F22DB94CBFB0312A407857FD64"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in section
			 3—</text>
				<subparagraph id="H06AFB27C452F4AA289AB8BB6BD700DC9"><enum>(A)</enum><text>by striking
			 <quote>If any person</quote> and inserting <quote>(a)<header-in-text level="subsection" style="OLC"> In general</header-in-text>.—If any
			 person</quote>;</text>
				</subparagraph><subparagraph id="HED498533CB144B6283D6246EB5D24120"><enum>(B)</enum><text>by striking
			 <quote>or has an agent</quote> and inserting <quote>, has an agent, transacts
			 business, or wherever venue is proper under
			 section
			 1391 of title 28, United States Code</quote>; and</text>
				</subparagraph><subparagraph id="HE165881BE5654EE79D972386AD9C9C0F"><enum>(C)</enum><text>by adding at the
			 end the following:</text>
					<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H79BC87B5A2A841529EC7A66D6E1CC461" style="traditional">
						<subsection commented="no" id="HE37647A1B22C48E7916319E5E4790472"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Trademark
				violations</header><text>If the violation of section 2 (a) or (b) or a rule
				under section 2(c) also involves unauthorized use of registered trademarks
				belonging to a collectibles certification service, the owner of such trademarks
				shall have, in addition to the remedies provided in subsection (a), all rights
				provided under sections 34, 35, and 36 of the Trademark Act of 1946
				(15 U.S.C.
				1116, 1117, and 1118) for violations of such
				Act.</text>
						</subsection><after-quoted-block>;
				and</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
				</subparagraph></paragraph><paragraph id="H6C8035E3ABAA4053B887576D09200A92"><enum>(3)</enum><text>in section 7, by
			 adding at the end the following:</text>
				<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HC38A6F593477496CA0A6EF8641BD1B80" style="traditional">
					<paragraph id="HE2CDFCED4F854C85B767184B446DE50C"><enum>(8)</enum><text>The term
				<term>collectibles certification service</term> means a person recognized by
				collectors for providing independent certification that collectible items are
				genuine.</text>
					</paragraph><paragraph id="H1468D3D569104860BC2D5A764102A0B5"><enum>(9)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The term <term>Trademark Act of 1946</term>
				means the Act entitled <quote>An Act to provide for the registration and
				protection of trademarks used in commerce, to carry out the provisions of
				certain international conventions, and for other purposes</quote>, approved
				July 5, 1946 (15
				U.S.C. 1051 et
				seq.).</text>
