		<section id="H7BEDE34ED1AD4581AD831C7BC5ACAB36" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Gun storage and safety
			 devices for all firearms</header>
			<subsection id="H13A9A3803CFA4D6791171F5DC5A54243"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Secure gun
			 storage or safety devices by federal firearms licensees</header><text>Section
			 922(z) of title 18, United States Code, is amended to read as follows:</text>
				<quoted-block id="H71FB28366E4146C199D6731C17D86497" style="OLC">
					<subsection id="HB4DB1CBCFCC54E2BB75F0B8C19E951B9"><enum>(z)</enum><text>It shall be
				unlawful for any licensed importer, licensed manufacturer, or licensed dealer
				to sell, transfer, or deliver any firearm to any person (other than a licensed
				importer, licensed manufacturer, or licensed dealer) unless the transferee is
				provided with a secure gun storage or safety
				device.</text>
					</subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
			</subsection><subsection id="HED3CB396D78C4AFA936D5ADB843BF75B"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Penalties</header><text>Section
			 924(p) of such title is amended to read as follows:</text>
				<quoted-block id="HD0D931AE844D4F658FBBD7E2630A26D9" style="OLC">
					<subsection id="H7996507746D9463C9A13589A944ABDF4"><enum>(p)</enum><text>The Attorney
				General may, after notice and opportunity for hearing, suspend or revoke any
				license issued under this chapter or may subject the licensee to a civil
				penalty of not more than $10,000 if the holder of such license has knowingly
				violated section 922(z). The actions of the Attorney General under this
				subsection may be reviewed only as provided in section
				923(f).</text>
					</subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
			</subsection><subsection id="H33AABE9AD2A7427CA0D303AF6D045DD9"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Effective
			 date</header><text>The amendments made by this section shall be effective 180
			 days after the date of the enactment of this Act.</text>
