		<section id="HCD018724F46F4794BAF36E2C310AB297" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Public notice of excess real
			 property</header>
			<subsection id="H7C0918D9962241B486FBD38113700933"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In
			 general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 524 of title
			 40, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following:</text>
				<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H9E7CF9CF764745209095645D377A34C8" style="OLC">
					<subsection id="H877EE52B676C4D44819910B30667423C"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Public notice of
				excess real property</header>
						<paragraph id="H507960EC30CC4A9099E2FFC1CCF44854"><enum>(1)</enum><header>In
				general</header><text>As soon as practicable after receiving a report of excess
				real property under subsection (a)(3), the Administrator shall provide public
				notice of the property through publication in the Federal Register.</text>
						</paragraph><paragraph id="HE4DBDB3AAA3842D3800010B0E79493BE"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Waivers</header><text>The
				Administrator may waive the requirement of paragraph (1) if the Administrator
				determines that the waiver is necessary for reasons of national
				security.</text>
						</paragraph></subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
			</subsection><subsection id="H5A0C57452FED4B718B782FBED020E349"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Applicability</header><text>The
			 amendment made by subsection (a) shall apply to excess real property reported
			 by an executive agency to the Administrator of General Services after the date
			 of enactment of this Act.</text>
