		<official-title>To amend the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer
		  Protection Act to set the rate of pay for employees of the Bureau of Consumer
		  Financial Protection in accordance with the General Schedule.</official-title>

		<section id="HD308F408815A46B1A16C51AF717B184A" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>CFPB Pay Fairness Act of 2013</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="H6F9B124B8F714318A4A8D6E30159D324"><enum>2.</enum><header>Rate of pay for
			 employees of the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection</header>
			<subsection id="H924F595D29A74C2AB85FFE723A42F0F5"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In
			 general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 1013(a)(2) of
			 the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (12 U.S.C.
			 5493(a)(2)) is amended to read as follows:</text>
				<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HDA879214D4F845D383F5E15356F429D5" style="OLC">
					<paragraph id="H199BF1F135E44D548BCFAE7BFD9B3CF0"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Compensation</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The rates of basic pay for all employees of
				the Bureau shall be set and adjusted by the Director in accordance with the
				General Schedule set forth in <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/5/5332">section 5332</external-xref> of title 5, United States
				Code.</text>
					</paragraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
			</subsection><subsection id="H1F3A6F5B09D547CDBB67902E8654BFBB"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Effective
			 date</header><text>The amendment made by subsection (a) shall apply to service
			 by an employee of the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection following the
			 90-day period beginning on the date of enactment of this Act.</text>
