		<official-title>To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to allow
		  deductions and credits relating to expenditures in connection with marijuana
		  sales conducted in compliance with State law.</official-title>

		<section id="HAF547C830E09443CAFE8267B0745571D" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Small Business Tax Equity Act of
			 2013</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="HA803CA8866094387AEA73D1851CD88BF" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>Allowance of
			 deductions and credits relating to expenditures in connection with marijuana
			 sales conducted in compliance with State law</header>
			<subsection id="HDB34AADC283547BF9A52CDFBCAB8DBD6"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In
			 general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 280E of the
			 Internal Revenue Code of 1986 is amended by inserting before the period at the
			 end the following: <quote>, unless such trade or business consists of marijuana
			 sales conducted in compliance with State law</quote>.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="H9C938F40982B420091865DD360475B21"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Effective
			 date</header><text>The amendment made by this section shall apply with respect
			 to taxable years ending after the date of the enactment of this Act.</text>
