		<official-title>To amend title 18, United States Code, to remove
		  knowledge of age as an element of the offense for the sex trafficking of
		  children or by force, fraud, or coercion.</official-title>

		<section id="HE1B2FBCCABA24DD086DF385D56CCAD79" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Child Protection Act of
			 2013</short-title></quote> or as <quote><short-title>Hazel’s Law</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="H79B76D88AE1D4998B8D55F85BBE5FAA2"><enum>2.</enum><header>Knowledge of age
			 not required for sex trafficking of children or by force, fraud, or
			 coercion</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 1591(c) of
			 title 18, United States Code, is amended—</text>
			<paragraph id="HA53B7103316D4F4CBEA758A476FC8DCA"><enum>(1)</enum><text>by striking
			 <quote>in which the defendant had a reasonable opportunity to observe the
			 person so recruited, enticed, harbored, transported, provided, obtained or
			 maintained</quote>; and</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="H5F85C2F3053E4BD9836E0B6648D6DF6D"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by inserting
			 <quote>so recruited, enticed, harbored, transported, provided, obtained or
			 maintained</quote> after <quote>the Government need not prove that the
			 defendant knew that the person</quote>.</text>
