		<official-title>To render all enrolled members of the Tohono O’odham
		  Nation citizens of the United States as of the date of their enrollment and to
		  recognize the valid membership credential of the Tohono O’odham Nation as the
		  legal equivalent of a certificate of citizenship or a State-issued birth
		  certificate for all Federal purposes.</official-title>

		<section id="HB63E58E95C584683A7508EA2E746F541" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Tohono O’odham Citizenship Act of
			 2013</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="H432AD9CE1AC447A7B704938202591A5A"><enum>2.</enum><header>Naturalization
			 for Tohono O’odham</header>
			<subsection id="HA1C5F70A8E244736BD3A7A6A0240F753"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In
			 general</header><text>Chapter 2 of title III of the Immigration and Nationality
			 Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/8/1421">8 U.S.C. 1421 et seq.</external-xref>) is amended by inserting after section 322 the
			 following:</text>

					<section id="HB709AC1E7E9446609D9F41F41767DFE6"><enum>323.</enum><header>Enrolled members of Tohono O’odham
		  nation</header><subsection commented="no" display-inline="yes-display-inline" id="H09C0674AD8074466961FD40B3CE63BD8"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Granting of
				citizenship</header><text>A person who is listed on the official membership
				roll of the Tohono O’odham Nation, a federally recognized American Indian
				nation located in Arizona, is a citizen of the United States as of the date on
				which such listing occurs.</text>
						</subsection><subsection id="H253BCFE9F7EC48EE93F74003AB872D2A"><enum>(b)</enum><header>No derivative
				benefits to relatives</header><text>Nothing in this section shall be construed
				as providing for any benefit under this Act for any spouse, son, daughter, or
				other relative of a person granted citizenship under this
				section.</text>
						</subsection></section><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
			</subsection><subsection id="H0E8EA4091A48453EB1BDCA8D5084881D"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Clerical
			 amendment</header><text>The table of contents of the Immigration and
			 Nationality Act is amended by inserting after the item relating to section 322
			 the following new item:</text>

						<toc-entry level="section">Sec. 323. Enrolled members of Tohono
				O’odham
				Nation.</toc-entry>

			</subsection></section><section id="H6B63D753666B45B79CB97E62C766D92A"><enum>3.</enum><header>Treatment of
			 tribal membership credential</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Notwithstanding any other provision of law,
			 the valid membership credential issued to a person who is listed on the
			 official membership roll of the Tohono O’odham Nation pursuant to the laws of
			 the Tohono O’odham Nation shall be considered, for all purposes subject to
			 Federal law, equivalent to—</text>
			<paragraph id="HD2DD3BC3718F40B786FF29AEF0436776"><enum>(1)</enum><text>a
			 certificate of citizenship issued under section 341(a) of the Immigration and
			 Nationality Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/8/1452">8 U.S.C. 1452(a)</external-xref>) to persons who satisfy the requirements of
			 such section; and</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="H3FD238D27965484F9DDCBA348767B233"><enum>(2)</enum><text>a
			 State-issued birth certificate.</text>
