R. 1513</legis-num><associated-doc display="yes" role="report">[Report No. 113–222]</associated-doc><current-chamber display="yes">IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES</current-chamber><action><action-date date="20130411">April 11, 2013</action-date><action-desc><sponsor name-id="P000605">Mr. Perry</sponsor> (for himself, <cosponsor name-id="M001179">Mr. Marino</cosponsor>, <cosponsor name-id="B001269">Mr. Barletta</cosponsor>, and <cosponsor name-id="G000549">Mr. Gerlach</cosponsor>) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the <committee-name committee-id="HII00">Committee on Natural Resources</committee-name></action-desc></action><action><action-date date="20130920">September 20, 2013</action-date><action-desc>Additional sponsor: <cosponsor name-id="D000604">Mr. Dent</cosponsor></action-desc></action><action><action-date date="20130920">September 20, 2013</action-date><action-desc>Committed to the Committee of the Whole House on the State of the Union and ordered to be printed<pagebreak></pagebreak></action-desc></action><legis-type>A BILL</legis-type><official-title display="yes">To revise the boundaries of the Gettysburg National Military Park to include the Gettysburg Train Station and certain land along Plum Run in Cumberland Township, to limit the means by which property within such revised boundaries may be acquired, and for other purposes.<pagebreak></pagebreak></official-title></form><legis-body id="HADC2F398D84F4036B92BE13617873842" style="OLC"><section id="H90BF421C41234A6F87BD90C4A09126E4" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Gettysburg National Military Park</header><subsection id="H063DF02056FE4EF0A7760C25C3931C13"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Boundary revision</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 1 of the Act titled <quote>An Act to revise the boundary of Gettysburg National Military Park in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and for other purposes</quote>, approved August 17, 1990 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/16/430g-4">16 U.S.C. 430g–4</external-xref>), is amended by adding at the end the following new subsection:</text><quoted-block id="H0DB4E3D4FCB14700B7290ED08BBA80F0" style="OLC"><subsection id="H66E21FB70466467F94F7F72CD54952D0"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Additional land</header><paragraph id="H23BE8FEBB5EE42689A9ACCC777A73530"><enum>(1)</enum><header>Covered land; condition</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In addition to the land identified in subsections (a) and (b), the park shall include the following, as depicted on the maps titled <quote>Gettysburg National Military Park Proposed Boundary Addition</quote>, numbered 305/80,045, and dated January 2010, if the owner of the property has provided written consent to inclusion:</text><subparagraph id="H8A5E18CC0BEF4A11BDD9FA5C2D773FE6"><enum>(A)</enum><text>The land and interests in land commonly known as the <quote>Gettysburg Train Station</quote> and its immediate surroundings in the Borough of Gettysburg.</text></subparagraph><subparagraph id="HE9ECCAD921054819BA0C4E4099E1F18F"><enum>(B)</enum><text>The land and interests in land located along Plum Run in Cumberland Township.</text></subparagraph></paragraph><paragraph id="HACA649CB5BA543588C3E5892C64AB843"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Rule of construction</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Nothing in paragraph (1), the acquisition of property within the area described in such paragraph, or the management plan for such acquired property shall be construed to create buffer zones outside of such property. That an activity or use can be seen or heard from within such acquired property shall not preclude the conduct of that activity or use outside such property.</text></paragraph></subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></subsection><subsection id="HC1553E164866460895E5AF3DBC69AA31"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Limited acquisition authority</header><text>Section 2(a) of that Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/16/430g-5">16 U.S.C. 430g–5(a)</external-xref>) is amended in the first sentence by inserting before the period the following: <quote>, except that the Secretary is authorized to acquire property within the area described in section 1(d) by donation only</quote>.</text></subsection></section></legis-body><endorsement display="yes"><action-date date="20130920">September 20, 2013</action-date><action-desc>Committed to the Committee of the Whole House on the State of the Union and ordered to be printed</action-desc></endorsement></bill>
