		<section id="HD83AEE6EFA55491B91D3F63D27BAFC89" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Amendment to the Children’s
			 Gasoline Burn Prevention Act</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 2 of the Children’s Gasoline Burn
			 Prevention Act (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/110/278">Public Law 110–278</external-xref>; 122 Stat. 2602) is amended—</text>
			<paragraph id="HFA4CA83478B44BC3AB0186E29A357458"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in the heading, by
			 striking <quote><header-in-text level="section" style="OLC">Child-Resistant
			 Portable Gasoline Containers</header-in-text></quote> and inserting
			 <quote><header-in-text level="section" style="OLC">Portable Fuel Container
			 Standards</header-in-text></quote>;</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="H168C58B1CFA246D89AE161C11E252785"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by striking
			 subsection (b) and inserting the following new subsection:</text>
				<quoted-block id="H73E8F52ED4534FF4921B0B95B5F66D50" style="OLC">
					<subsection id="HE904DA433BB84C0981637D681FD179CA"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Requirements</header><text>Effective
				6 months after the date of enactment of this Act, each portable fuel container
				manufactured on or after that date for sale in the United States shall conform
				to the provisions of ASTM standards F852–08, F2517–09, F839–83 (2006), F976–08,
				F926–02 (2007), as they are by their terms applicable to gasoline, kerosene, or
				diesel portable fuel containers, as issued by ASTM
				International.</text>
					</subsection><after-quoted-block>;</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="HB7158790F98D4A0C944B24FC6CA7862E"><enum>(3)</enum><text>in subsection (c),
			 by striking <quote>gasoline</quote> each place that it appears; and</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="H09809D77EDA24DD0903FDCE75BD4BDE2"><enum>(4)</enum><text>in subsection (d),
			 by striking <quote>child resistance requirements of ASTM F2517–05</quote> and
			 inserting <quote>provisions of any standard described in subsection
			 (b),</quote>.</text>
