General activities are reported in the areas of gas analysis, polarography, potentiometry, coulometry, chemical microscopy, and classical microchemical analysis.Research activities described in some detail include:determination of trace amounts of oxygen in gases, development of a coulometric method for precise analysis of boric acid, improvements in microdetermination of silver and fluorine by null-point potentiometry, the electrochemical generation of fluoride ion, preparation of resin-bead particle standards, and determination of trace elements by the nuclear track technique. A number of microchemical procedures which have been developed for the analysis of a variety of materials are also included.
